Brocante — Village St. Paul (Le Marais)

This coming April 14 and 15, a chic brocante will be in the Village St. Paul area of Le Marais, in the 4th Arrondissement of Paris. In the Jewish Quartier of Paris, Village St. Paul is a well known hunting ground for fine antiques, arts and food. One of my favorite antique shops in all of Paris — Cassiopée— which specializes in fine silver, is located here.

Treasure hunters can shop for fine silver, paintings, Baccarat glassware, and the usual bric-brac one can find at these events. Or course, a slew of fashion shops and restaurants can be found here. If hungry, be sure to stop by on Rue des Rosiers for falafel at L’As du Falafel. You can also stop by the Musée de la Magie , which offers an interesting historical perspective on the craft of magic.

From morning until late afternoon (after 7:00 p.m.), it is closest to the Metro St. Paul stop (Line 1).
