One of the best places to enjoy a view of the Eiffel Tower is at the restaurant, Les Ombres, located inside the Musée de Quai Branly. I have lived in Paris for almost two years now, and I know that for as long as I live I will never be tired of looking at La Tour. I have the pleasure of seeing this iconic structure almost everyday and whenever I have a guest come to visit me I always suggest that they budget in the time to just sit and enjoy the view.
Les Ombres rooftop location features stunningly beautiful views of the Seine and the Eiffel Tower with access to their legendary terrace being reserved exclusively for patrons of the restaurant. If you dine here it is sure to be an evening that you will never forget. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner serving an excellent selection of dishes and very inventive cuisine.
During lunch, Les Ombres offers two menus, a set menu they offer year-round and a menu de saison, which changes every week. The menu de saison is a prix-fixe menu for 38€ which includes a starter, main course, and dessert.
Best Restaurants in Paris – Les Ombres
One of my favorite things about Les Ombres is that on top of the fabulous food, and breathtaking landscape, they also have teatime daily from 3 to 5pm. So, if you do not have time to sit down for an entire meal, you can grab un café gourmond des ombres and enjoy the view for a while. For those in the mood for tea they have a really interesting selection from around the world – The Darjeeling Princeton tea from India is my favorite.
The restaurant holds a capacity of 100 people and reservations are required.
