Beaujolais Festival In Paris

IMGP2287.jpgOn November 22, which coincides with American Thanksgiving, Parisians and the world celebrate the arrival of 2012′s Beaujolais by uncorking the season’s fresh and juicy crop. Restaurants, cafes, bars and brasseries all share in the celebration.

Some of our favorite places to join in the celebration include Willie’s Wine Bar, Gallopin, Le Select, Au Pied de Cochon and La Chaumette.

This season’s vintage can be purchased at a number of choice wine stores, including Nicolas, Les Caves Taillevent, Hediard, Ryst-Dupeyron, Savour Club, Lavinia and Au Verger de la Madeleine.

Beaujolais can be purchased at relatively low prices, for as little as 4-9 Euros at wine merchants and for 10-15 Euros in restaurants.
